BANANA BLACK Wins the Social Products Award 2026
Our shop's "BANANA BLACK | Smoke (incense holder)" has won the Social Products Award 2026 .
This product was created in collaboration with Dole Corporation, which is recycling bananas that were previously discarded as not meeting distribution standards into "banana charcoal."
The UP FOOD PROJECT continues its efforts to transform waste into everyday tools by redesigning unused resources derived from food into new materials.
BANANA BLACK is one of the products that symbolizes this initiative.
In the review process,
- The idea is to carbonize non-standard bananas and transform them into interior art objects.
