Coffee-Dyed Mitten & Pot Holder | Coffee-dyed trivet & mitten (2-way)

The coffee grounds left over after coffee extraction are used as a dye and upcycled into mitts that can also be used as trivets.

The fabric is dyed using a dyeing method called "Nokori Dyeing" (awarded the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' Food Industry Mottainai Grand Prize), which was developed independently by Tsuyakane, a company that promotes sustainable efforts in the dyeing industry, based on their strong desire for environmental consideration and the concept of "mottainai" (not wanting to waste).
