A symbol of protection, back in our lives.
Since ancient times, onigawara roof tiles have been placed on Japanese roofs and have been treasured as a way to ward off evil spirits and protect the home.
"Onimori no Ichirin" is a work born from respect for such traditions and new values that connect to the future.
The onigawara tile was created by tile craftsman Tsukamoto Hayato, representative of Kawaraiki.
Mr. Tsukamoto, who continues to innovate while preserving Japan's tile culture, was awarded the "Contemporary Master Craftsman" award in 2024.
He possesses outstanding skills that have been recognized by the nation, receiving the Yellow Ribbon Medal in 2025.
Its historic design,
It has been reconstructed using a unique material called "COFFEE STONE," which combines discarded coffee grounds with minerals derived from seawater.
This is a craft that gives new life and soul to materials that have once served their purpose.
A single flower that exudes a quiet presence in any space and gently protects your life.
A form of protection where tradition and circulation meet. That is FOOD STONE's "Onimori no Ichirin."

What is FOOD STONE? <br>It is an upcycling brand that breathes new life into food waste that would otherwise be discarded, transforming it and "circulating" it.
Materials that would normally be discarded, such as coffee grounds, fruit peels, and vegetable peels, are combined with minerals derived from seawater to regenerate them into products with the texture and presence of stone.
