RE: DARUMA is a series of daruma dolls made from upcycled materials that symbolize "rebirth" and "resurrection (indomitable spirit)."
RE: DARUMA Base-set is a product that has been re-edited to include the actions of placing, arranging, and holding the daruma dolls.
We breathed new life into discarded coffee grounds, husks, and plant-derived by-products, and by combining them with minerals from seawater, we transformed them into objects with a stone-like texture and a quiet presence.
We see hope and determination in the Daruma doll, which keeps getting up no matter how many times it falls.
At Base-set, we propose to "place" this will on a pedestal and welcome it as a symbol into your daily life.
The Single version is the most minimalist, consisting of one Daruma doll and a single base.
